The Jandy Equipment We Build and Service With.
Jandy is our primary equipment brand. Rather than send you off to a manufacturer catalog, here is what we actually install on Southwest Florida pools—pumps, filters, heating, and the upgrades worth doing—with the specs that matter and plain-language notes on when each one is the right call.
One Brand, One System, Parts We Can Get.
We standardize on Jandy because it keeps your pool simple to run and simple for us to service. Everything below is equipment we install, stock parts for, and repair ourselves—not a catalog we resell.
One system that talks to itself
Because the pump, heater, salt system, lights and valves are all Jandy, they run from a single automation controller instead of a patchwork of apps and timers. Fewer conflicts, simpler diagnostics.
Parts we can actually get
We stock and source Jandy parts locally. When something fails in August, that difference is measured in days, not weeks waiting on an off-brand component.
Built for salt and coastal air
Southwest Florida is hard on equipment. We spec corrosion-resistant housings and cupro-nickel heat exchangers where salt water and coastal air demand them.
Serviceable, not disposable
Jandy equipment is designed to be rebuilt — seals, motors, cells, boards and control panels are replaceable. We repair before we recommend replacing.
Jandy Pumps
The pump is the heart of the pool. Jandy’s variable-speed models let the pool run longer at low speed, which filters better and uses a fraction of the electricity of an old single-speed motor. Florida code requires variable-speed on most replacements, and it is usually the single biggest energy saving we can make on an existing pool.

Jandy VS FloPro Variable-Speed Pump
A properly sized variable-speed pump keeps your pool water circulating efficiently while using less energy and operating more quietly. It improves filtration, helps maintain clearer water, and can extend the life of your pool equipment. Our standard recommendation, the Jandy VS FloPro, uses a permanent-magnet, totally enclosed motor with a built-in controller so you can set exact speeds and daily schedules. Running slower for longer hours means quieter operation, better filtration and dramatically lower power bills compared with a single-speed pump.
Best for: Most residential pools — new builds and pump replacements

Jandy Stealth SHPF High-Performance Pump
When a pool needs serious flow — a big spa, sheer descents, long plumbing runs to a remote pad — the Stealth delivers high head pressure while staying notably quiet thanks to its enclosed motor design.
Best for: Large pools, long pipe runs, spa jets and water features

Jandy PlusHP Single-Speed Pump
The Jandy PlusHP is a rugged single-speed pump we use for pressure-side cleaner circuits, water features and other dedicated duties where a booster-style pump is needed. Its high-head design gives a cleaner the flow it needs without robbing the main circulation system.
Best for: Pools with a pressure-side automatic cleaner
Jandy Filters
Filtration is what keeps water clear between service visits. We size the filter to the pool and the pump, not the other way around — an undersized filter clogs fast, drives pressure up and shortens pump life. All three Jandy families below are ones we install and service regularly in Southwest Florida.

Jandy CS Cartridge Filter
The compact Jandy CS Cartridge Filter delivers excellent filtration without taking up excessive space on your equipment pad. Its pleated cartridge captures debris as small as 10 microns and requires no backwashing, helping conserve water. Proper filtration is essential because sanitizer destroys bacteria and algae, but the filter physically removes those contaminants and debris from the water. Correctly sized, well-maintained filtration keeps your pool cleaner, clearer, healthier, and easier to maintain.
Best for: Equipment pads with limited space; homeowners who want crystal-clear water without backwashing

Jandy CS100 / CS150 Cartridge Filter
The smaller CS100 and CS150 bodies bring the same no-backwash cartridge filtration to average residential pools and tighter equipment pads. Cleaning is simple: pull the element a couple of times a year and rinse it — no wasted water, which is a real advantage in Florida.
Best for: Most residential pools; homeowners who want low maintenance

Jandy DEV DE Filter
Diatomaceous earth filters catch the smallest particles of the three types, producing exceptionally polished water. They require backwashing and recharging with DE powder, so they trade a little maintenance for maximum clarity.
Best for: Owners who want the clearest possible water

Jandy SFTM Top-Mount Sand Filter
Sand filtration is the easiest to live with: backwash when pressure climbs, change the media every several years. It does not polish water quite as finely as cartridge or DE, but it is tough and inexpensive to maintain.
Best for: Owners who prefer the simplest possible routine
Pool Heaters & Heat Pumps
Southwest Florida pools swim best year-round with heat. Gas heaters raise temperature fast for occasional use and spas; heat pumps cost far less to run for holding a pool at a set temperature all season. These are the heater models we sell and install. We size and quote both types so you can compare real operating cost, not just the sticker price—and full manufacturer specification sheets for any model below are available on request or at your in-home estimate.

Jandy JXi Gas Heater
Our most-installed gas heater. Compact and lightweight, it brings a pool or spa up to temperature quickly, fits tight equipment pads, and integrates directly with Jandy automation so the spa can be heated from your phone on the way home.
Best for: Spas, weekend heating, quick temperature recovery

Jandy JXiQ Quiet Gas Heater
The same fast gas heating as the JXi with a sealed, sound-dampened cabinet and an onboard controller with built-in Wi-Fi. Noticeably quieter at the equipment pad, and it self-diagnoses faults so a service call starts with an answer instead of guesswork.
Best for: Homes where the pad sits near a lanai, bedroom or neighbor

Jandy Hi-E2 High-Efficiency Heater
A condensing gas heater that pulls extra heat out of the exhaust before it leaves the flue. It costs more up front than a standard heater, but at roughly 95% efficiency it burns noticeably less fuel — which pays back on pools that are heated regularly rather than a few weekends a year.
Best for: Owners who heat often and want the lowest cost per BTU on gas

Jandy VersaTemp Heat Pump
Heat pumps move heat out of the Florida air instead of burning fuel, so they cost a fraction of gas to run. They heat gradually rather than instantly, which makes them ideal for keeping a pool consistently warm rather than heating a spa on demand.
Best for: Holding a comfortable pool temperature all season

Jandy VersaTemp Heat & Cool Heat Pump
The heat/cool VersaTemp configuration reverses in summer to pull heat out of the pool, so the water stays swimmable in August as well as January. It runs on electricity, quietly, and costs a fraction of gas heating to operate.
Best for: Year-round comfortable water temperature in Southwest Florida
Which Heater Is Right for Your Pool?
The short version: gas heats fast and costs more to run, a heat pump heats slowly and costs far less to run. Here is how the models we sell compare side by side.
| Model | Fuel | Heats | Cost to run | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JXi Gas Heater | Natural gas / propane | Fastest | Highest | Spas and occasional weekend heating |
| JXiQ Quiet Gas Heater | Natural gas / propane | Fastest | Highest | Same speed as JXi, much quieter pad |
| Hi-E2 High-Efficiency | Natural gas / propane | Fast | Lower gas use (~95% efficient) | Frequent gas heating, lowest fuel bill |
| Pro Series Heat Pump | Electric (240V) | Gradual | Low | Holding a warm pool all season |
| VS Variable-Speed Heat Pump | Electric (240V) | Gradual | Lowest | Year-round heating, quietest operation |
Heater Specs in Plain English
Manufacturer specification sheets are full of numbers that only matter if you know what they mean. Here is what each one actually tells you about how the heater will perform on your pool.
BTU
How much heat the unit makes per hour. Bigger number = faster heating. A typical 15,000-gallon pool with a spa is usually a 400 kBTU gas heater; a pool-only heat pump is usually 115,000–140,000 BTU.
Thermal efficiency
How much of the gas you buy actually ends up in the water. An 84% heater puts 84 cents of every fuel dollar into the pool; a 95% condensing heater puts in 95 cents.
COP (heat pumps)
How many units of heat you get per unit of electricity. A COP of 5 means five dollars of heat for one dollar of power — that’s why heat pumps cost so much less to run than gas.
Heat exchanger material
Copper is standard. On salt pools or aggressive water we spec cupro-nickel, which resists corrosion and lasts far longer for a small upcharge.
Recovery time
How long it takes to reach your set temperature. Gas is measured in minutes for a spa; a heat pump raises a pool roughly 1–2°F per hour.
Sizing
Undersized heaters run constantly and never quite get there. We size on surface area, screen enclosure, wind exposure and whether you use a blanket — not just gallons.
Want the full spec sheets? We bring the manufacturer specification sheets for every heater model to your estimate, sized to your pool, with an honest estimate of what each one will cost you to run each month.
Equipment Upgrades
These are the add-ons that change how a pool feels to own day to day: softer water, phone control, color lighting and automatic valves. Most can be added to an existing pad without replumbing the whole system.

Jandy TruClear Salt Chlorinator
The Jandy TruClear Salt Chlorinator automatically converts salt into chlorine, providing reliable sanitation without the constant handling and storage of traditional chlorine products. Its compact, energy-efficient design works at low flow rates and features a transparent window for quick inspection and easier maintenance. Saltwater chlorination helps maintain more consistent chlorine levels, creating clean, clear water with a softer, more comfortable swimming experience.
Best for: Owners tired of hauling and handling chlorine

Jandy AquaLink RS Automation
Jandy AquaLink RS makes managing your pool and spa simple. From one convenient system, you can control pumps, heating, lighting, water features, cleaning, and sanitation—even from your smartphone with the iAquaLink app. Customized schedules and one-touch settings save time, reduce unnecessary energy use, and ensure your pool or spa is ready whenever you are.
Best for: Pools with a spa, heater, lights or water features; anyone who wants phone control

Jandy WaterColors LED Lighting
Jandy LED pool lights add brilliant illumination, beautiful color, and improved nighttime visibility to your pool or spa. LED technology can use up to 87% less energy and last significantly longer than traditional incandescent lighting—helping reduce electricity use, maintenance, and replacement costs.
Best for: Replacing an old incandescent light; night swimming; adding color and visibility

Jandy Valves & JVA Actuators
Jandy’s positive-seal valves are the industry standard, and JVA actuators motorize them so the system can switch between pool, spa and features on its own. No more walking out to turn handles before a swim.
Best for: Pool/spa combos and water-feature circuits
